Liquid-O-Ring 166 is a synthetic, biodegradable grease that has extreme pressure characteristics and excellent resistance to washout. It is effective in operating temperatures >500°F (260°C). Liquid-O-Ring 166 performs well under heavy loads, provides outstanding structural stability, and has excellent anti-fretting capability under oscillatory and vibratory conditions.
Liquid-O-Ring 166 may be used for industrial applications where a synthetic lubricant is preferred. Mixture with other types of greases may result in softening of Liquid-O-Ring 166 grease. Every effort should be made to clean or purge the former grease from the bearing.
