Liquid-O-Ring MP56 is a metal parts protector that can be applied to machined parts, dies, pipe threads, casting, tools, jigs and stamped metal parts for prevention of rust and corrosion. It protects metal parts on boats, ships and dock equipment. Liquid-O-Ring MP56 prevents corrosion due to salt spray on cable, hoists, pulleys, winches and riggings. It is excellent for protecting materials while in transit.Liquid-O-Ring MP56 provides indefinite protection for indoor storage and up to 2 years protection for outdoor storage. Liquid-O-Ring MP56 provides a transparent, amber film making it easy for visual inspection. By using kerosene or mineral spirits to remove Liquid-O-Ring MP56, parts can then be painted.
For best results, parts should be clean and free of rust, scale or dirt, however Liquid-O-Ring MP56 will provide
adequate protection when applied on top of these elements. Liquid-O-Ring MP56 will actually aid in the removal of rust, scale or dirt.Liquid-O-Ring MP56 may be applied by spraying, brushing, or dipping. Liquid-O-Ring MP56 will completely set up in 2 hours. Once film is hard, part can be handled. Dust and dirt can be easily wiped off without affecting film.
