Weatherford’s TorkWrench™ 10-100 HMBU mobile bucking unit is a variation of the TorkWrench™ iron roughneck designed for making and breaking joints of drill pipe that have diameters ranging from 2 7/8 to 10 in. The TorkWrench™ 10-100 HMBU mobile bucking unit enables the offline makeup of drilling tools, drill pipe and bottomhole assemblies (BHAs), providing significant time savings.
The TorkWrench™ 10-100 HMBU mobile bucking unit provides up to 100,000 ft-lb of torque for the toughest makeup and breakout operations. A robust, compact design with the fewer moving parts increases the overall reliability and provides the outstanding high-speed breakout performance in the workshop or on the rig for most oilfield connections including the drill string components, drilling tools, packers, couplings, and valves.
